Adolfo is a professor at the Department of Social Anthropology and Social Psychology at the Complutense University of Madrid (Spain). He has worked for the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones CientÃficas (CSIC), the Centre for Research on Socio-Cultural Change (CRESC) at the University of Manchester and the Internet Interdisciplinary Institute (IN3) at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya.
His research explores urban movements and neighborhood collectives and his work contributes to understanding the knowledge practices of these movements and demonstrates the experimental ethos in which they participate, as well as the intersections and exchanges between art, anthropology and urban practices. His main focus is on the exploration of artistic languages and formats as vehicles of anthropological knowledge in Colleex (Collaboratory for Ethnographic Experimentation), an official network of the European Association of Social Anthropology (EASA) that he co-founded in 2017.
