Juan Vicente Iborra has B.A. degrees in Political Science, Administration Studies and History from the Universtiy of Valencia, a specialist degree in Conflict Studies from the University of Utrecht and a master’s degree in Latin American Studies from the National Autonomous University of Mexico.

He has been published in various journals and media outlets, researching topics in Latin American studies, African-American studies, rituals, the ontological turn in anthropology and Central American migration.
