Meritxell Rigol is a journalist with a special focus on LGBTQ+ rights, gender-based violence and social and solidarity economies.

She currently writes for CTXT and La Directa. She has also collaborated in the feminicide documentation project ‘Por todas’ of La Marea. She has coordinated the Observatory of the coverage of male violence of Mèdia.cat. and co-directed the documentary ‘Cuidar entre terres’.
