Patricia Simón, originally from Andalucia, is a journalist focusing on human rights, gender and their representation in the media.
She writes for Pikara Magazine and La Marea, among other publications.

Patricia has won the Premio de la Asociación Española de Mujeres de los Medios de Comunicación (Spanish Association of Women in the Media Award). She is also a part of an academic research group studying media representations of prostitution.

Patricia enjoys reporting while travelling across the world, as well as discovering and telling about the different worlds that coexist right in her own neighbourhood.
